Regret Burns (Excerpt from An American Millennial)
By Garrett Larson
Place your bets. Do it carefully. Maybe you were made for a mission and you just have 6 months to live and you can complete it or you can work your 9-5 and just get by, ever so quietly. There comes a point when you have to take the safe way, stay in the cove, or bet it all and make it happen. The funny thing is I believe the “safe” way is actually much harder and painful. Regret burns deep down and never really fades … also when you are doing what you were made to do it happens, it flows, you don’t check to see when your break is or think about what you are going to eat for an hour – you get in the zone and it flows. It can be very strenuous and trying and there are bad days for sure. But you know that you know that it’s happening and you aren’t in the cove anymore, you are right where you need to be. Know where you must be if you are going to get it done.
I always loved that part in Sister Act when the music was flowing and everyone loved it and they were involved with their community and giving out fruit. Hehe. And Whoopi turned an old car into a playset for kids haha. It was just nice to see people helping people.
